Spinnaker Electronic Assembly, trading as SEA Ltd, provides surface-mount, through-hole and mixed-technology PCB assembly from Trafalgar Wharf in Portsmouth, covering prototype, fast-turn and low-to-medium volume work with design, box-build and functional testing. The company runs three automatic pick-and-place lines handling BGA, micro-BGA, QFP, LGA and QFN packages, and sources rigid and metal-clad boards, including FR4, polyimide, PTFE and Rogers Duroid materials, through UK and offshore fabrication partners, on either a turnkey or customer-free-issue basis. Established in 2009, it serves defence, aerospace, automotive, marine, lighting and industrial customers, with its three partners bringing more than 90 years' combined contract manufacturing and production experience.
