How to Use EMS Directory

A short guide for two audiences: companies sourcing UK electronics manufacturing, and EMS companies that want to be found.

For Buyers

Browse by category: PCB Assembly, Box Build Assembly, Cable & Wire Assembly, Electromechanical Assembly, Systems Integration, Prototyping & NPI, Design & Engineering, Repair & Rework - or by location under EMS Locations, drilling down from nation (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) to county. Or search directly for a company name.

The filter panel narrows on what actually determines fit: certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, IPC standards and more - see the Glossary if any of these are unfamiliar), services and process capability, board/assembly/soldering type, testing, order volume, and industries served.

Every listing carries a "Last Updated" date, and a link through to Companies House where available - useful when certifications and trading status move faster than a supplier's own website. See what "Verified" means for exactly what's checked and how often.

Some listings belong to a wider group - a UK site owned by a larger multinational, or several sister companies under one parent. Where that's the case, the listing links through to a group page showing the other UK sites under the same ownership.

Shortlist the companies you're actually considering (bookmark icon on any card or listing page, up to 6 at once), then use Compare to see their certifications, services and industries laid out side by side. From there, Send RFQ sends one enquiry to every shortlisted company at once: the same brief, sent once, instead of six separate contact forms. Or use the "Contact [Company]" button on an individual listing to reach one company directly.

For EMS Companies

Submit your listing if you're not on the directory yet: company name, website, contact details and address is enough to get started.

Buyers filter hard on certifications, services and industries served, so an accurate, complete listing is what puts you in front of the right enquiries. If anything needs correcting, get in touch and we'll update it.
