KY Engineering and Technology, trading as KY Electronics, is an Edinburgh-based electronics design consultancy whose core work is PCB layout and embedded systems development. Its engineers cover analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuit design, STM32 and other microcontroller-based boards, FPGA designs in VHDL and Verilog, power electronics and high-speed layout, using Altium Designer and simulation to take projects from schematic through board layout and firmware. Board bring-up and testing services include functional test, signal analysis with oscilloscopes and logic analysers, power and thermal measurement and compliance checks. The company also arranges PCB production and assembly from customer manufacturing files, provides PCB copying with testing and assembly, and offers repair and rework, for clients in IoT, industrial automation, robotics, consumer electronics and medical devices.
